so omg after watching the first four episodes of the slayers revolution dub (AAAA AAAA AAAAAA OH MY GOD AAAAAAA YES FUCK YES FFFF) i went and made a lina journal. finally. 8|

it's just not the same to watch it subbed, without lisa and the gang ;;

and mind you i do not feel this way about any other anime slayers is special.

what this probably means is that i will go shotgun the other series (again) and maybe get around to watching the OVAs and movies (but maybe not because hnnghhh they don't have lisa in them ;_;) I WISH broadwayheathy WAS HERE, I MISS WATCHING SLAYERS WITH YOUUUU OMG <3

the funny thing is that even though slayers is still my #1 favorite anime and one of my very oldest fandoms, i've never participated in the fandom all that much. how weird is that? i've never really felt the need to read a lot of slayers fanfic (i read some pretty awful ones that i thought were good BACK IN THE DAY on the pit) and...it is technically true that i've written slayers fanfic but WE DON'T TALK ABOUT THAT, DO WE broadwayheathy and psychogizmo B|;

i really wish i had anyone to play lina with? but she really wouldn't fit very well at xi_rpg and i'm sort of reluctant to join another big game to keep up with. BUT MY LINA MUSE WANTS ADVENTURES hrrgh oh well :'|

hnnghh need to get a new job so i can afford to buy up the slayers novels and revolution box set :')

FUCK THAT, MAN, I LOVED THOSE FICS. I've totally recently gotten my boyfriend OBSESSED with Slayers. We just started Try the other day.

I FUCKIN HAD A DREAM ABOUT XELLOS **LAST NIGHT**. Yeah, I'm regressing. Oh who the fuck am I kidding, it never went away. I still take the doll with me like...everywhere. I even used it in a Rocky Horror preshow once. XP HE'S SITTIN UP ON MY SHELF IN THE CORNER OF MY ROOM RIGHT NOW!

I used to read so much Slayers fic a few years ago...and now I really want to again. XP IT'S BEEN MY FAVORITE FOR 8 YEARS NOW omguh.

Is Revolution done dubbing yet?? I heard that the whole original cast came back except David Moo. Where are you watching it?? Have you seen Evolution-R, pretty much the other half of Revolution?! WAUGH I HAVEN'T GOTTEN AROUND TO THEM YET I DON'T WANNA KNOW ANYTHING I JUST KNOW THAT XELLOS IS IN IT AND THAT'S ALL I NEED, WAAAAAUUUUUH!!!

after the fansub group got that C&D last summer i pretty much decided i didn't want to watch the rest of REVOLUTION/EVOLUTION-R without the dub cast, so no, i haven't seen the second half (no spoilers obvs :C). and funimation put up the first four eps as a teaser (the revolution box set comes out MARCH 16) on youtube. HD and everything! xellos isn't in the first four eps so i'm like DAAAANG but they cast michael sinterniklaas as xellos. i love david moo, but i'm optimistic.

i shotgunned those four episodes OMG there were TEARS IN MY EYES when i heard lisa ortiz's voice ffffffghh the four main cast are all in it oh god it is so wonderful.

my boyfriend doesn't like anime so much but i'm making him watch it with me because. i can :') i just finished the shabrinigdo arc today. fuck i love lina <3
