i need a new job. one that's closer to the UNM area and not far away and not so incredibly draining.

i got home at 10.40, realized i still had 20+ pages of portuguese homework to do. i am still doing them. 8|; and i realized i don't have the workbook audio for lição 9, which was last week's homework that i'm still trying to do (since i was sick for like a week and a half haha) so i'm thinking maybe i should just let that entire assignment go, and just turn in this week's, since i don't have the materials necessary to complete over half that assignment.

i've been (re)watching the last bits of season 3 of bones while i do this, and now that i've come up to the finale, i'm like WELL, TIME TO DO THE LISTENING HOMEWORK because i know if i watch the finale i will end up bawling D: oh god it makes me cry every time fhghghghh i would not even other watching it again if i weren't for the fact that i am very insistent on writing that XI AU backstory fic for zach. god. hart hanson. why. D:

at least the next episode of s5 will be up on hulu tomorrow! even though it will likely have no zach. i wonder if he'll make any more appearances this season? i hope so. there was some stuff touched on lightly in s4 that implied he might have a comeback, but i know how unlikely that is :( i at least hope they'll continue to have him appear sporadically.

god i love zach ;_; so much. i just. ffgghhh i just want to HUG HIM SO BAD and it makes the s3 finale so hard to watch. JUST THINKING ABOUT IT MAKES ME TEARY-EYED aaaaaa

okay back to portuguese homework. i am going to be so tired tomorrow lol :'D

SO i would really like to go to portugal for my undergrad study abroad BUT IT DOESN'T LOOK LIKE THAT IS GOING TO HAPPEN as UNM has no study abroad programs or affiliates with programs to portugal.

:'(

sooo i will probably go back to japan for my undergrad because as much as i love the west it is not very practical for me to go to england when my major is portuguese and japanese :C and i SURE DON'T WANT TO GO TO BRAZIL.

this is suck though 'cause if i were in portugal it would be so much easier for me to visit the UK D:

howeverrr i do miss japan (i just miss portugal more) and i have some peeps there! assuming shigeruhiko is crazy enough to stay there another year or two. i have no ideas about rholeyface's long term plans, or ekuboryu's.

the sister schools UNM has in japan are ritsumeikan in kyoto and the international university in akita EERP i...really do not want to go back to akita. not just because it is cold and inaka and in the middle of fuck nowhere, but i do not want to accidentally run into people i knew who might still actually live there. it would be too freaky/upsetting/complicated 8| besides, kyoto has an awesome factor that is like thirty five times that of akita

anyway. i still have to talk to the study abroad office, but i don't think i'll be able to go to portugal for my undergrad. i know there are plenty of non-UNM-affiliated programs that go, but i probably can't afford them, and it would be such a pain to coordinate my credits and make sure that i didn't completely waste my time academically speaking :/ granted, i have a lot more opportunities to go to portugal post-grad, so this isn't a huge loss. WE WILL SEE. i am sure my vavó will be super disappointed to hear i won't be going to portugal for study abroad :'( me too, vavó, me too.

don't worry, jland, i still love you, but my love for portugal is purer. also it is not full of crazy moon people.

i DO miss japan though, woe. and then maybe my parents will visit this time!
