i....idk?? to be honest i'm not as big of an OMG I SHIP THE HELL OUT OF THAT!! fan as i used to be a few years ago and i don't weigh too heavily on in-game shipsplus i play a lot of games with children characters??...BUT I'LL GIVE THIS ONE A GO
i will admit that johnny and meryl are pretty adorable, if only for the fucking awesome scene in 4 where they're SHOOTING EVERYTHING and also having a weird lovers quarrel GOD I LOLED SO HARD
i also think that the BKO ot3 is pretty adorable but again mostly in a loltastic cutesy way. OH BUT I DO SHIP THE SHIT OUT OF CELSICA AND RAMBARI their love is so tragic and deathy
DAY 8: BEST SOUNDTRACK
god this meme has really just turned into me loving on baten kaitos even more than i normally do
OH WELL
in all seriousness though, part of what makes BK so awesome is the music. sakuraba is a fabulous composer. he also did ALL OF THE MUSIC from the tales of games although...those are significantly less impressive? idk i feel like he got a lot more interesting and diverse with the BK music. it's pretty wide ranging in mood and style but a lot of it is this awesome combination of orchestra-style music and prog rock. I HIGHLY SUGGEST CHECKING IT OUT i am more than happy to provide anyone who wants it with the full soundtracks :'D
TWEWY had an excellent OST because it was really something different and it fit the mood of the game so well. unfortunately it mostly sounds better on a DS than it does on my iTunes, but i still enjoy the heck out of it.
FE9 had a pretty decent OST too, i quite like some of the tracks, but it is pretty generic medieval fantasy music.
